How do you communicate with and reach your customers to deliver your value proposition?

As the leader of your organization, it's up to you to determine the best way to communicate so that you reach your clients. Most organizations use a mix of direct channels like their sales force, website and annual report, as well as indirect channels such as partners and resellers. Finding the most efficient and cost-effective communication channels is even more critical when you consider all the marketplace "noise" that's competing for your customers' attention, time and money.

YOUR ACTION STEPS

Identify how you communicate with and reach your customers. In other words, what are YOUR company's most effective channels? Determine which channels are working best (yielding the highest ROI) and focus solely on those going forward. If you're leveraging both direct and indirect channels, do your best to make sure a consistent message is being delivered across them all. Even a little inconsistency can lead to a lot of confusion for your customers.
