Your customers are the heart of your business - without them, your business can't survive for very long. As the leader of your organization, you need to make a conscious decision about which customers to serve and which to ignore. After all, you can't be all things to all people, and the start of a new year is a great time to identify key customer segments and learn everything you can about them.
Evaluate how you currently segment your customers and, for each segment, make sure you understand why they buy, how to reach them, what messages resonate with them, what they are willing to pay and how to build strong relationships with them.
